This position is responsible for providing daily network operational support of the Enterprise wide network, including (but not limited to) participation in planning, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination. Provides journey level support for engineering, architecture, support, routing, switching, documentation, troubleshooting, transport topologies, network hardware, security, VoIP, customer relations, and all services within the infrastructure, often working with and supporting Senior Engineers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience that demonstrates technical competency
- At least five (5) years experience with LAN and WAN technologies + wireless
- Intermediate, moving toward Expert, knowledge and expertise in local and wide area networking, wired and wireless communications
- Intermediate, moving toward Expert, knowledge of layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing including dynamic routing protocols (specifically BGP and OSPF).
