Join the staff of the Urgent Care Clinic. This clinic will be open evening hours during weekdays and 11am until 8pm on weekends including holidays. As an integral member of the Health Care Team, the Urgent Care Clinic RN functions within the Scope of Practice as defined by Washington State, the ANA Scope and Standards for Pediatric Nursing Practice, and adheres to Seattle Children's policies/procedures and guidelines of care. They are responsible for providing safe, family centered patient care. Using the Nursing Care Process, the RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in a collaborative method with the patient and patient's family, significant others, and members of the health care team. May be required to provide supervision and delegation of tasks to assistive personnel.
The assignment for this position is primarily based at the Bellevue Urgent Care location but the incumbent will be required to work other Urgent Care locations as assigned.
This position will have shift lengths of 8 and 12 hours. Must be available for On Call.
Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Recent/current RN experience in a pediatric related health care setting.
Required Credentials Current Washington State RN License. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers. Current PALS certification will be accepted in lieu of the BLS either at time of hire or as an annual competency.
Obtain PALS within 90 days of hire
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Pediatric ED/urgent care nursing experience.
