  • Overview

     

    This position is part of a dynamic three-person administrative team that is responsible for the coordination of the UWSOM Department of Pediatrics residency training program based at Seattle Children’s. Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Program accreditation and compliance
    • Compliance with all reporting requirements of the University of Washington School of Medicine and the ACGME, and reporting of milestones through the Next Accreditation System
    • Liaising with the UWSOM Graduate Medical Education Office
    • Oversight of resident compliance
    • Contract project management and oversight
    • Coordination of the intern on-boarding process
    • Coordination of the resident exit process.

    Requirements

    Required Education/Experience:
    - Bachelor’s Degree
    - Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in general administrative support/customer service and computer based operations

    Required Credentials:
    - N/A

    Preferred:
    - Previous experience in academic medicine
    - Experience in internal communications at a large organization
