  • Overview

    The Senior Account, Research Grants will oversee accounting for federal, state, and private research grants and contracts, and other designated funds so that grants and contracts are managed in accordance with grantor and contractor requirements, and support Seattle Children's mission as a health care delivery system. As a member of the The Office of Research Finance (ORF) you will be apart of the exceptional team that provides financial administration, monitoring and reporting for Seattle Children's Research Institute. The Research Institute operates on a business philosophy that promotes strategic decision-making and fiscal responsibility, using research business metrics to clarify all decision making.

    Required Education/Experience:
    - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    - Minimum of five (5) years accounting experience, to include grant/contract accounting experience.

    Required Credentials:
    - N/A

    - CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification
    - Healthcare accounting experience; non-profit accounting experience
    - Lawson ERP proficiency.
