The Vice President of Clinical Support Services is responsible for strategic planning, establishing policy and managing all assigned service lines and divisions. Accountable for assessment, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of patient care services ensuring that quality care is provided to patients in accordance with organizational, professional and regulatory standards. The Vice President plays a leadership role or participates in continuous performance improvement activities with management, medical staff, and clinical leaders throughout the organization.
Collaborate with leadership, physician partners and clinical staff to develop, deliver and sustain the delivery of high quality patient care services to meet current and anticipated patient, family and referral source needs and to ensure alignment with overall organizational values and strategies. Work closely with physician leaders, Strategic Planning Group, Decision Support and others in order to assess trends, opportunities, changes in reimbursement patterns, to identify and analyze competition, understand medical and scientific advances and other factors to develop and execute key business strategies that secure and sustain program growth.
Required Education & Experience:
- MHA, MBA or equivalent
- Ten year’s increasingly responsible leadership experience in a large and complex healthcare setting
- Experience with LEAN improvement methodology.
