    What you will do: Strategically develop systems to support effective simulation program and center  operations. Provide daily management, mentoring and oversight of the simulation program and assigned staff. Collaborates with Simulation  leadership, QSI, org leadership and customers to develop, deliver and sustain quality simulation  services across the organization. Continually assesses and improves service delivery through the development, identification, monitoring and benchmarking of quantitative indicators for the quality, efficiency, access and effectiveness of services. Will be responsible to recognize entrepreneurial opportunties to develop and execute strategies to achieve key business development and growth objectives for support services at Seattle Children’s.

    Required Education/Experience:

    - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

    - Previous management experience

    - Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management,     data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations

    - Miniumum of one (1) year experience in medical simulation or related clinical experience.



    - Experience in developing and testing scenarios for simulator operation and training.

    - A combination of education and experience that includes a degree or certificate (e.g., Nurse, surgical technician, anesthesia technician, or medical assistant) and a minimum of three years practice experience in the medical field. 

    - Minimum of two years experience as an instructor in operations and management of high technology mannequins used in medical settings. 

    - Minimum of two years experience as an instructor in operations and management of high technology mannequins used in medical settings. 

    - Knowledge of the technical and operational aspects of medical procedures and terminology. 

    - Demonstrated skill and comfort with computer-based equipment including use and troubleshooting of computers, simulators and audiovisual equipment.

    - One year experience with operation and use of Laerdal simulators.
