Through multiple rotations on various Revenue Cycle teams, this entry level Revenue Cycle position provides support, performs tasks, analyzes data, and works on special projects related to obtaining payment for health care services. The purpose of the role is to acquire the on-the-job training necessary to meet the minimum requirements for promotion and placement on a revenue cycle team, and therefore generally lasts from one to two years, depending on prior experience. Hours, assignments, and performance outcomes vary depending upon the rotation. In addition to assigned tasks on rotation, performance outcomes also focus on building industry knowledge, implementing process improvements, contributing to teamwork, and improving quality. The role requires conformance with all department and hospital policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years work experience. An Associates Degree may substituted for the two years work experience requirement.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited four year college.
- Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian or Somali.
