Develop, implement and manage a dynamic and responsive Sterile Processing department. Responsible for maintaining sterilization techniques, documentation of the sterilization process, improving the quality of services performed, and for identifying, analyzing and implementing effective customer service. Manages a 24-hour department and multiple smaller departments providing patient care services to inpatient and outpatient facilities. Ensures staff provides high quality infection control and patient focused services to members which comply with local, state, and federal requirements. Develops and maintains budgets and ongoing staff development.
- At least five (5) years of leadership experience in sterile processing, inventory and logistics management from a diverse industry background, including health care.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Lean Enterprise and/or Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) training/certification.
