Assist and perform functions related to medical and allied health professional staff credentialing, reappointment, and privileging. Responsibilities include conducting analysis, primary source verification, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and coordination of a high volume of work including working with confidential information. Duties include providing exceptional customer service to internal and extremal customers, medical staff, allied health professionals, and leaders throughout the organization. Maintain credentialing database and filing systems, and manage workload required to complete projects.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of related experience in the areas of customer service, office and/or project management.
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical/healthcare office setting.
- Experience working as a credentialing assistant (can be in a medical staff office, health plan or medical group).
