    Overview

    In partnership with the physician leader and program manager (Leadership Team), responsible for development and delivery of organizational wide curriculum and training to enhance provider and team skills in engaging with and relating to patients and families. Provide senior leadership for the peer coaching program and coach providers on observed clinical encounters. Consult with and provide system support to divisions on improvement strategies. Develop provider and clinician champions to become effective co-facilitators and coaches. Provide leadership to direct reports including program manager, program coordinator and workshop facilitators. Align with hospital senior leadership around hospital initiatives and goals related to patient and family experience and provider satisfaction.

    Requirements

    - Clinical degree (MD, PhD, MSW, PA, ARNP) or Master’s degree in Education or related field.
    - Clinical experience, preferably in pediatric setting.
    - Minimum five years experience in group facilitation and/or teaching experience in a health care setting.
    - Minimum five years progressive leadership experience.

    Preferred:
    - Experience in an academic medical setting.
    - Experience with lean methodology.
    - Experience with safety methods including principles of Highly Reliable Organizations.
