Research, compile, analyze and reports issues which create barriers to ambulatory access. Collaborate with SCH managers, clinical and operational leadership and providers to achieve key performance indicators and business objectives related to access, capacity, and template management. Work closely with customers to identify needs, develop recommended approaches, and to ensure successful operation of systems to meet standards. Responsible to analyze, recommend and implement changes to scheduling templates. Required to understand scheduling workflows in order to align new and updates technology solutions with business strategies and execute solutions that solve access problems. Responsible for troubleshooting and analysis of Scheduling relates issues and escalate to the SCH Capacity Management Group for further review. Educate internal customers on template standards and process for submitting template change requests. Serve on the Capacity Management Team and attend monthly meetings to share data and make recommendations.




Required Education/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree Business, Health Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Minimum three years in progressively responsible related work experience in patient access or other related healthcare field

- Experience with Electronic Health Scheduling System, Epic preferred

- Knowledge in patient scheduling, registration, consult/order workflows and My Chart

- Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle operations

Required Credentials:

- Epic Cadence Certification must be obtained within one year of employment



- Past Supervisory or other Leadership experience

- Ability to outline work plans and meet deadlines or Project Management experience
