Overview

Please note:  This position is limited term - temporary but benefits eligible can last up to 18 to 24 months

 

Multiple Locations: North, South, Odessa Brown, Sand Point, Bellevue, Main Campus

 

Multiple Schedules/Shifts/FTE available:  .6 FTE, Per Diem and .5 FTE positions available

 

Base Pay: The set hourly rate of pay is $21.00

 

 

Duties: Provides comprehensive entrance health screening for organization. Supports patients, families, visitors, other staff in every aspect of screening.Provides optimum customer services throughout this work.

 

Corresponds and partners with healthcare teams and forwards any/all relevant information as needed surrounding the identified special pathogens, inclusive of, however, not limited to, CoVID-19, Mers-CoV, etc. Applies the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate interactions with staff, patients, and families of all ages.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Two (2) years customer service experience

Required Credentials:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (within 3 months of hire)
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) De-escalation training (within 90 DAYS of hire)

Preferred:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Washington
- Two or more years of experience in a pediatric health care setting

 

In accordance with new Washington law for healthcare workers, Seattle Children’s requires that all staff be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on or before October 18, 2021, or before beginning employment for start dates after October 18th.
