Provides a variety of analysis and support functions including troubleshooting, user training, assistance and orientation, testing and implementing new or upgraded Radiology applications and ensuring data integrity of Radiology systems and integration with other applications across Children’s. Responsible for quality control process development and documentation within Radiology applications. Manage incoming calls from users, patients and families and external organizations related to Radiology systems, records release and image transfers. Facilitate image exchange platforms. Work closely with users, leadership and other stakeholders to identify needs, develop recommended approaches, and to ensure successful operation of systems to meet departmental and organizational needs. In addition, provide Tier 1 phone support with pertinent information, timely resolution and/or appropriate escalation for Radiology application issues experienced by staff and customers. Provides on-call support for all imaging areas as needed.


Required Education/Experience:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university OR at least two years’ college coursework in the Health Information Technology, Health Information Administration, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience.

- Experience in imaging information technology.
- Previous experience with Radiology applications, including RIS (Epic), PACS and PowerScribe.
- Previous experience with image transfer platforms.
