We are seeking a per diem feeding therapist to join our Infant Therapy team. This position will provide evaluation and treatment of feeding skills for inpatient and/or outpatient infants 0-12 months of age with a variety of diagnoses. Therapists applying should have skills in pre-feeding activities, initiating and progressing bottle and breastfeeding, managing oral feeding programs in tube fed infants, transitioning from tube to oral feeding, and introduction of solids foods. Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapists will be considered.
Provide individualized services to patients to improve occupational performance and collaborate with patients, families and treatment teams to improve functional outcomes for the patient.
- Bachelors Degree in occupational or physical therapy or a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from accredited university.
- Minimum 3 years of infant feeding therapy experience, NICU experience and/or Lactation experience preferred
- Current Washington State license to practice as an occupational or physical therapist or a speech-language pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) if applying as a speech language pathologist.
- Masters or Doctorate degree if an occupational or physical therapist.
- Experience in acute care pediatric therapy (OT/PT/SLP).
- Minimum 3 years of infant feeding therapy experience, NICU experience and/or Lactation experience
