Overview

Facilities Coordinator job duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct daily rounds to identify repair needs. Engage appropriate resources for repairs and maintenance, tracking to completion.

 

• Manage and respond to all work orders in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service.

 

• Coordinate with landlord/property management for building-related issues that include but are not limited to badge access, conference center reservations, loading dock reservations, building repairs, security issues, and janitorial services.

 

• Coordinate with internal and external vendors for services that include but are not limited to preventative maintenance, repairs, shredding, electrical issues, mail and courier services.

• Coordinate site operations in accordance with all agreed policies and procedures.

 

• Provide support for emergency response plans including evacuation, implementation of after-hours emergency response, and environmental health and safety.

 

• Provide assistance to the Site Supervisor where applicable with reception and guest support, mail and courier services, office/kitchen supplies, equipment maintenance, safety/security issues, and other duties as assigned.

 

Ideal candidate would be a highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, enthusiastic team player, with outstanding communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms. Previous experience in facilities/property management, hospitality, or related field preferred

Requirements

Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years college coursework in Business, Project Management, Human Services, or related field
- 5 years progressively responsible experience in administration/customer service, with at least 1 year of project coordination experience
- Demonstrated experience in drafting, editing and creating written communications and/or reports
- Experience providing administrative support
- Experience in a health care setting
- Experience with information collection management systems
- Experience with collaborative on-line tools to support distributed project teams (MS Project, Wikis, web surveys)

Required Credentials:
- N/A

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Marketing, or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience serving as a project coordinator
-Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms. Previous experience in facilities/property management, hospitality, or related field preferred
