Overview

The Maintenance Planner improves work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access for planned and unplanned work. This position ensures staff have the tools and parts needed to complete preventative maintenance and corrective work orders. This role will plan and coordinate communication, data management, document preparation, and process improvement in support of maintenance work with the many departments at Seattle Children’s. Works in collaboration with the Manager, CMMS adminstrator and maintenace staff to help to implement department and organizational objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of (5) years' experience in facility maintenance, operations and repair or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of (3) years' experience utilizing a planned maintenance program (CMMS)

Required Credentials:
- Current Washington State Driver’s license.

Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Maintenance
- Science Laboratory, Production and or Healthcare facilities experience
- Experience in GMP, laboratory research, and or healthcare regulatory compliance.
- Construction planning, oversight experience
