The Program Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating activities associated with a specific program or group of programs in a specialty/functional area including scheduling, coordination of communication, data management, document preparation, and process improvement. Works in collaboration with the Program Manager and other program staff to help to implement the program’s objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process. Responsible for ensuring effective communication among stakeholders and program staff. Coordinates scheduling of program activities and staff and assists in maintaining data on the program’s effectiveness. Coordinates interdepartmental activities ensuring ongoing effective program operation and/or implementation. Responsible for the organization, prioritization and coordination of a moderate to high volume of complex work in support of the program.


Additional Infotmation:


This position is responsible for supporting the development of a comprehensive telemedicine program for the Gender Clinic.


Program Coordination:

  • Support program development efforts to build a comprehensive telemedicine program for gender-affirming care in partnership with medical directors and team leaders.
  • Develop and maintain effective department and program communication tools and sites
  • Develop and maintain standardized systems and materials to enhance team effectiveness
  • Ensure materials, resources, and records are up-to-date and comply with established standards
  • Serve as a point person for project work, in collaboration with project and program managers.


Other duties:

  • In collaboration with Scheduling teams, develop standardized processes to ensure all gender clinic patients are scheduled for telemedicine visits appropriately.
  • Partner with gender clinic providers to develop resources and clinic processes to support patients in successfully completing telemedicine visits
  • Support meetings with agendas and note-taking.
  • Partner with our existing data analytics team to track and report out on telemedicine utilization measures


Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years program administrative support or 5 years progressively responsible experience in administration/customer service

Required Credentials:
- N/A


- Strong familiarity with or experience working with transgender and nonbinary youth and their families.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field
- Experience working in public health, health care or social services
- Experience working on process improvement projects
